Sticky Note Storytelling Class

Sticky Note Story Telling is a process of reflecting upon your story and identifying how it has informed your view of yourself, of children and what it means to be a teacher and a learner. Understanding the forces that have shaped who you are will enable you to be more intentional in your interactions with children and increasingly able to look beyond the behavior to see the heart of the child.

Teaching children is an intensely relational experiences that requires a great deal of self-awareness on the part of the teacher. Being aware of the people, events and circumstances that have shaped our own life enhances our capacity to connect in meaningful ways with children and be a more effective teacher.
